Czech trade balance turns into deficit in June

The Czech trade balance recorded a deficit of 6.903 billion CZK (271.7 million euros) in June compared to a surplus of 33.956 billion CZK in the same month last year, the national statistics agency reported on Friday.

In May, the trade surplus amounted to CZK 4.481 billion. Exports grew by 13.2% per year in June and imports by 30.1%.

On a monthly basis, seasonally adjusted exports fell 2.1% in June and imports increased 3.0%.
