Estonia’s trade balance turns into deficit in September

Estonia’s trade balance recorded a deficit of 75 million euros in September compared to a surplus of 18 million euros in the same month last year, the statistical agency reported.

In August, the trade deficit was 117 million euros. Exports rose 30.0% year-on-year in September, after rising 45% in August.

Imports grew 37% per year in September, following growth of 41% the month before.
